Out The Door, LLC ("Out The Door," "we," "us," or "our") exists to get you a strong car deal without the showroom pressure — and privacy is part of that promise. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website and services, how we use it, and the choices you have. We will never sell your personal information.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Contact details: your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, and preferred contact method.
• Vehicle request details: the make, model, year, condition, features, and preferences you tell us about.
• Budget and trade-in details: your target budget or payment, optional trade-in vehicle information, and purchase timeframe.
• Situation details: the credit range you select, your buying situation, concerns, and any notes you share. We do not pull your credit report and never ask for your Social Security number.
• Account details: your password (stored hashed) and account settings if you create an account.

Information collected automatically

• Standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and session cookies needed to operate the site securely. We use cookies for authentication and site functionality, not for third-party advertising.

3. How we use your information

• To create and manage your vehicle request and present it to verified dealerships for competing offers.
• To communicate with you about your request by the contact method you choose — including text messages if you opt in.
• To provide the advisory services you engage us for (offer comparison, negotiation, closing coordination).
• To operate, secure, and improve the platform, and to comply with legal obligations.

4. How your information is shared

Privacy is the product. Sharing works like this:

• With dealerships: your vehicle request (vehicle, region, budget parameters) is visible to verified dealers so they can bid — but your name, phone number, and email are not included. Your direct contact details are released only to the winning dealership once your deal moves forward.
• Service providers: we use vendors for hosting, email delivery, and text-message delivery, bound to use your data only to provide those services to us.
• Legal: we may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
• We never sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

5. Text messaging and mobile information

If you opt in to text messages, we use your phone number to send conversational and transactional messages about your vehicle request. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted solely to enable those services. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party, except as required to deliver the messages you have requested.

You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, and get assistance by replying HELP. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. See our Terms of Service for the full SMS program terms.

6. Data retention

We keep your request and account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the services, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. You may ask us to delete your information at any time (see Section 8).

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards: encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, and private storage of your request details until your deal moves forward. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but protecting your information is central to how the service is built.

8. Your choices and rights

• You may access and update your account information at any time from your account settings.
• You may opt out of text messages (reply STOP), and choose phone or email contact instead.
• You may request a copy of your personal information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing support@otdautoservice.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
• Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional privacy rights; we honor applicable state privacy laws.

9. Children

The Services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we delete any such information we discover.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be communicated through the Services.
